Throughout many genres of music, we have seen the trends of our parent’s (the baby boomers) music, pop up again and again on our current music charts. Today I came across a website that connects these two generations each week. The website is and “Each week, Val Haller, the founder of the music Web site, matches music from her baby boom generation to music of her 20-something sons’ generation.”

This week, Val was featured with week in the New York Times with a updated comparison to folk legend Cat Stevens.
